The theme for the INTERnetwork conference is Diversity, Inclusion and the Values of Democracy: Building Teachers' Competences for Intercultural Education.

A main goal of the conference is to share reflections and experiences in the frame of the INTER Network topics: intercultural education, teacher training and school practice.

All papers, posters and workshops proposals on relevant subjects will be considered.

Deadline for paper submission: 15^th july 2009

Papers, posters and workshops are invited around following topics:

Diversity, Inclusion and the Values of Democracy: Building Teachers' Competences for Intercultural Education
Intercultural education: teacher training
Intercultural education: school practice

A proposal can be sumitted for:

Individual paper presentation: 30 minutes (including discussion)
Poster presentation: Selected posters will be displayed, and sessions will be set up for conference participants to interact with poster presenters.
Workshop: 90 minutes

Please proofread your proposal and include:

The title of the presentation
The type of presentation (paper, poster or workshop)
The name/s and institution of the presenter/s (If you wish to include more than one co-authors, please list them right below the abstract submission, in the same textbox)
Mailing address
E-mail address
A 300-500 words abstract (addressing the theme, identifying relevant conference topics, the aims of the research /practice/experience, theoretical and conceptual framework, methodology, and main findings).
